FAQs

What areas can I get delivery to?

We can deliver any box to the North Island, excluding rural or post office boxes. We also deliver to Christchurch, and Marlborough Region. Please note, there must be a place for the package to be left safely. 

Orders booked on a Monday before 12pm will be delivered Wednesday, orders processed on a Monday following 12pm will be delivered the Thursday for a guaranteed Monday delivery, please order Friday or over the weekend (Glazed is unstaffed over the weekend so FAQs relating to an order will be answered the following operational day).

 

How do I select a delivery date?

You must select a delivery date at the check out.

Please note: As our delivery is carried out by a third party delivery service, we cannot guarantee your delivery date, although we will do our best to accommodate and orders typically arrive on time. Please order 1 day in advance if this is an issue.

 

We do not deliver to:

- PO Boxes/Apartments without 'drop off areas' as the boxes do not fit in letterboxes and need to be either collected, or left in a lobby/mail room. 

 

Can you do next day delivery?

Unfortunately, not yet, we need one day turnaround time to ensure you receive the freshest product. 

For example, if you order on Wednesday at 11:30am, your delivery will arrive the Friday.

Monday delivery - Place order by 12pm Saturday

Tuesday delivery -  Place order by 12pm Sunday

Wednesday delivery -  Place order by 12pm Monday

Thursday delivery -  Place order by 12pm Tuesday

Friday delivery -  Place order by 12pm Wednesday

If you order on Wednesday (past the 12pm cut off date), the earliest you can get delivery is the following Monday as the courier does not operate on the weekend.

We recommend ordering at your earliest convenience.

 

What if I need to request a delivery time?

Due to the volume of orders being shipped, unfortunately this is not an option. 

 

What time will my delivery arrive?

Commercial addresses are typically delivered by 5:30pm and residential addresses by 6pm. Our couriers will do their best to deliver within these time frames, however there may be situations beyond their control and these cannot be guaranteed.

  

Can I track my order?

Yes! You will receive tracking details via email once your order has been processed.

 

How much is delivery?

Delivery costs are directly estimated from our couriers, so it's location based. You can find this information after entering your address into the order form after checkout.

 

What happens if the recipient isn’t home? 

If the recipient isn’t home:

  1. The courier will leave the delivery on the front porch or in a safe location.
  2. If the driver is unable to leave the package, the box will be sent back to us and a re-delivery can be arranged at an additional expense.

What happens if I provide you with the wrong address, or my order can't be delivered to the provided address?

If you think there may be an issue, please contact orders@glazed.co.nz and we will do our best to arrange an alternative option. If we are unable to re-deliver or arrange a pick-up, then you will need to purchase a new box and delivery.

 

Do you deliver on weekends? 

Unfortunately we are closed on weekends. 

 

When should I eat the box? 

All desserts are baked and created daily. We recommend consumption on the day of delivery :)

 

Do your products have traces of nuts or gluten?
Yes, nuts. We cannot guarantee that a product will not come in contact with nuts. We do however have a GF option available (Dough Free). If you have an allergy, please don't hesitate to contact us to discuss any before making an order, email orders@glazed.co.nz

 

Do you customise boxes? 

We offer custom orders for corporate, events, birthdays etc. We do customise boxes for an additional bespoke fee - if you have something you'd love to see as a product please don't hesitate to email though your idea :)  orders@glazed.co.nz

- Credit card or debit card

 

How do I cancel my order?

Orders can be cancelled prior to 72 hours prior to the scheduled delivery date. Please email orders@glazed.co.nz ASAP to cancel an order.

Orders that are already prepared, dispatched or in transit cannot be cancelled or refunded.

Cancellation of online order incurs a $50.00 administrative fee regardless of product value. We will refund you, less this fee.

If cancellation notice is received at less than 72 hour notice - cancellation is void.

A cancellation must be emailed to orders@glazed.co.nz
